Who is this course for?
If you’re working full-time or have other commitments during the day but you still need to find time to improve your English, Speak Up London has got you covered!
Our evening classes are perfect for those who cannot commit to full-time study and want to make the most of each learning hour. With this class, you will develop all of your language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. With 6 hours of studying per week, you can make noticeable progress.
Entry Level: A1 Elementary
Course Length: Minimum 1 week
Class Time & Frequency: 7.10pm, 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
In our classes we use the Communicative Approach, which most experts think is the best way to teach English. The teacher will present new language in natural contexts, so you will get a clear idea of when to use it in real life. You will practise the language you learn so you gain more confidence, and then use it in speaking activities with your classmates. The teacher will give you feedback to help you improve.
Course Materials:
Our syllabuses are designed using well-known coursebook series from Pearson, Macmillan, Oxford University Press and National Geographic. Our teachers supplement them with authentic materials to help you get familiar with, understand and use English as it is spoken in the UK.
What will you achieve?
You’ll improve in all four skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. You will develop your understanding of grammar so you can communicate more accurately, and will broaden your range of vocabulary.
