ADD-ON EVERYDAY ENGLISH

Starting on 6th January 2025.

Who is this course for?

This course is for you if you need to communicate now. It is a fast track to communicating in everyday situations, such as booking appointments over the phone, making returns in a shop, describing the haircut you want to a hairdresser or barber, or dealing with problems in your hotel or rented flat. You will learn and practise common expressions used in these situations, so you can feel prepared and confident next time you need to solve a problem!

You can book this class as a standalone course or as an add-on to our General English classes.

  • 1.00-2.00 pm x 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
  • 4.30-5.30 pm x 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
  • 6.00-7.00 pm x 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

Our Approach

In our classes we use the Communicative Approach, which most experts think is the best way to teach English. The teacher will present new language in natural contexts, so you will get a clear idea of when to use it in real life. You will practise the language you learn so you gain more confidence, and then use it in speaking activities with your classmates. The teacher will give you feedback to help you improve.

Course Materials:

On this course we don’t have a fixed coursebook but we will use a range of materials from Pearson, Macmillan, Oxford University Press and National Geographic. Our teachers supplement them with authentic materials depending on the lesson topic.
