Course Objectives
- To prepare you to take the Cambridge English B2 First / C1 Advanced / C2 Proficiency exam.
- To learn useful exam techniques and test-taking strategies to maximise your chance of success in all parts of the exam (Speaking, Listening, Writing, Reading and Use of English)
- To develop your underlying English skills, broaden your range of language (grammar and vocabulary) and help you to become more accurate before you take the exam.
What You Will Cover in Class
- Exam Techniques: study and practise using strategies specifically tailored to help you to do well in the exam.
- Comprehensive Practice: undertake practice papers, followed by detailed feedback and advice from your teacher.
- Grammar and Vocabulary: broaden your range of language, so you are well-prepared for the Use of English paper and can express yourself more accurately and effectively.
- Versatile Writing Skills: develop the ability to write in different styles and genres, including essays, reports, reviews and letters; become better able to employ a range of cohesive devices and structures for various types of texts.
- Effective Listening: improve your ability to understand spoken English and identify key information; become better able to identify speakers' tones and attitudes, and improve your ability to follow complex speech.
- Reading Development: become better able to understand written English and identify important information in texts such as news reports and online articles; improve your ability to identify the writer’s point of view and think critically about what you read.
- Stronger Speaking Skills: work to improve your fluency and accuracy in spoken English, and interact effectively with others; develop the ability to ask for clarification and communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Interactive Classes: practice expressing your ideas through active participation in a range of classroom discussions and communicative activities.

I spent two weeks at this school and I had a very good time, the teachers are good and patient and the staff is very kind and helps you solve any problem. Finally, it is located in an excellent location, close to almost the most interesting things in London. I recommend it without a doubt!

Excellent school with great teachers. The classes are never boring and I leave each class with new knowledge. I have gained a lot of useful tips for getting around London and most importantly I speak English much more confidently.
My experience in speak up London it was amazing. I did 12 weeks course and I improved my English a lot. The teachers and the staff helped me a lot. I enjoyed the classes and also the social programs that help a lot students interacted with others and make friends. In particular in the reception there is Justine, she always helps me when I need ,she was super outgoing and super attentive with the students.
