I have studied at this school three times, each time for about two months, and every experience has been excellent. Every time I return, I feel that I improve and reach a higher level. I started at A2 on my first visit, and by my last time I had reached C1, which shows how effective their teaching is. Most of the teachers who taught me were amazing — their teaching methods were effective and their attitude was always friendly and professional. The social activities were also great and added a lot to the overall experience. The staff are very helpful and supportive, and their service is outstanding. I highly recommend this school, and I am already looking forward to visiting it for the fourth time!!

Todos os profissionais que tive contato desde as primeiras dúvidas sobre estudar na Speak Up foram sempre claros e são extremamente preparados. Ao vir para a Inglaterra e começar os estudos não me restou nenhuma dúvida sobre a excelente escolha que eu havia feito. Expérience vraiment incroyable, mes professeurs était géniaux spécialement Ozlem & Layla ❤️❤️❤️ J’ai passé 3 semaines intensive et j’ai appris pleins de nouvelles chose. The quality of teaching is outstanding, thanks to the highly skilled teachers. One of the most important factors when choosing a school in London is the value for money, and Speak Up truly excels in this regard. Beyond lessons, Speak Up offers a wide variety of social activities that make learning English even more enjoyable. From city tours and cultural trips to workshops, movie nights, and conversation clubs, these activities provide great opportunities to practice English in real-life situations while meeting people from all over the world. I previously studied at another well-known school before continuing my English studies at Speak Up. In comparison, I found the other school to be overrated, with exorbitant fees that did not match the quality of teaching. Além disso a escola organiza diversos programas sociais para que você pratique a fala e o entendimento do Inglês. Se eu tiver uma oportunidade futura de voltar à Londres para estudar, Speak Up seria novamente minha primeira escolha.

I have been taking classes at this school for over a month. While not all teachers seemed professional to me, the front desk staff and management were quite helpful. If you are dissatisfied with a course, you can request a change, and they will assist you in finding a another course. I once had a rather "amazing" substitute teacher. Once during a lesson, I was talking about how friends from different countries tease each other in good fun, when he suddenly grabbed his own collar and said with complete seriousness, "What does your country produce? Cheap clothes?" I was utterly shocked and did not know how to respond. On one occasion, as the class was about to end, he displayed my personal information (like my full name, date of birth etc.) on the classroom screen for everyone to see and prepared to leave. When I stopped him and asked why he had done that, he replied, "There was nothing else to display." I was left speechless and confused. He even once called me “a spy” in front of other students. Was he trying to be humorous, or was he simply expressing his own prejudice? I understand that everyone has biases, but as a teacher, shouldn't he be held to a higher standard? Even if a student comes from a country with a different political system, how could an ordinary student like me possibly represent or influence an entire nation? As an educated Irishman, especially one with a degree in philosophy, he should understand this better than most. He repeatedly asked me about another student from my country, pressing me about what kind of person he was. When I questioned, "As a teacher, why are you so concerned with a student's personality?" he responded that some students were simply boring and uninteresting. Once again, I was at a loss for words. Another time, a few students and I went to dinner, and he joined us. At the restaurant, he began harassing a young East Asian waitress who appeared to be about 18 years old, going so far as to grab her hand. I hesitate to use the word racism, but it makes me wonder, would he have acted the same way had she been a white or a black girl? I rarely write complaints, but I feel compelled now because I am deeply troubled by this teacher's behaviour. I hope that by sharing my experience, on one hand, future students can be more cautious, and on the other hand the School would pay more attention to the teachers' professional ethics. Apart from that teacher, my overall experience at the School was quite positive. Chris at the front desk was very professional and patient. Management Vera and Fred were very responsible in helping you follow up on things. My regular teacher Matt was very professional and gave every student an equal opportunity to express themselves (my class is mainly oral). If you want to learn English and make friends, this school is a great choice, and the location is also very convenient. One person's behaviour cannot represent the school, as I believe the school will follow up on every genuine complaint.

Los profesores son muy profesionales, pacientes y siempre encuentran la manera de explicar las cosas de forma clara y práctica. Además, las clases son dinámicas, con muchas oportunidades para practicar conversación, lo cual me ha ayudado muchísimo a ganar confianza al hablar. Je suis très contente de mon parcours au sein de l’école Speak Up. J’avais prévu de faire 12 semaines et, au final, j’ai prolongé jusqu’à 20 semaines. Un bon apprentissage des cours et de la grammaire anglaise. Une équipe professionnelle et disponible pour vous accompagner et vous conseiller. Mon niveau en anglais s’est largement amélioré : j’ai commencé en A2 la première semaine et je suis actuellement en B2, avec beaucoup plus de confiance pour parler anglais.

Une excellente Super expérience à Speakup London ! Inscription facile, personnel adorable et toujours prêt à aider. L’école m’a trouvé une super famille d’accueil. Les cours sont efficaces et amusants, avec un excellent prof, Mat S. Il s'est rendre lapprentissage vivant et motivant.
